The Search: Leggings

Do you remember when leggings first came about? Now they have become a staple item in our wardrobes. Since I pretty much live in them now, I'm always searching for a good pair. Here are some of my results thus far...

This legging is a little funky with the twists on the side. It's called Little Lover Legging by Insight. Only $46 at NeedSupply.com.

This is a great look that's different but I think very wearable from Hellz Bellz. Check them out in this cobalt color and in black at 80s Purple.

A Sunny Idea: Cat Eye Frames

Cat Eye Sunglasses have made a comeback and are everywhere for Spring! Scarlett Johansson, Lady Gaga and Mary-Kate Olsen (my favorite) to name a few have adapted to this 50's reminiscent trend. They popped up on the Spring runways in all shapes and sizes. Designers such as Alexander Wang/Linda Farrow, Giles Deacon, Tom Ford, Jason Wu, Sonia Rykiel and Miuccia Prada have shown their interpretations of this cool cat eye trend from Over sized to extra pointy. Well, I think I missed the Zac Posen sale...I've been too busy with homework and work.

I keep hearing it is suppose to rain all week... The days are getting longer, which means spring and summer are coming, but I can't wait... I want to wear sandals, and printed dresses, and bathing suits! Which is why I love your post yesterday and wanted to share my favorite swimsuits right now.

One of my boss's friends reps this handbag line. The hobo bags are called "lady" and they come in ostrich, lamb, and snakeskin. MY- Kita: I want these!!!

I think I've asked everyone I know if I should get these...I'm driving everyone NUTS! So what do you think? A. Kinney Court had a Mykita trunk show about 2 weeks ago where I met the Mykita designers and now I am in love with their frames.

These are the Hamilton frames. They are a limited edition of a collaboration between Mykita and Marios Schwab. You can look at them at Mykita.com.

This tid-bit might help with the decision...Below is the Mykita store in Berlin. During the trunk show, the Mykita designers told me the lights behind the displays are motioned censored to follow people as they walk by, and the carts in front are old flight attendant carts that hold glasses and tools.

We went to this darling breakfast spot over the weekend on 3rd street in Long Beach. You will love the decor and the little touches like cucumber infused water served in mason jars. They have so many yummy breakfast dishes like Eggs Benjamin, San Francisco stuffed french toast and tofu scramble. My drink of choice was a Vanilla Steamer.
